What car did Steve McQueen die in?

Contrary to popular belief, iconic actor Steve McQueen didn't die in a car. Known for his love of fast cars and motorcycles, it's often assumed he met his end in a high-speed crash. However, the truth is that McQueen passed away from a heart attack in 1980 following surgery for pleural mesothelioma, a type of cancer. So, while he lived his life in the fast lane, it wasn't a car that took the "King of Cool" from us. It's a common misconception I thought it was worth clearing up.
